Plasticade Barricade (Type 1)

Plasticade Barricades are constructed of durable hollow molded plastic for internal ballasting with sand or other materials to add weight. All of the ballasting weight goes directly to the bottom, making the barricade stable in the wind. Opening for pouring in ballast material is near the top of the barricade.
o “Type 1” (MUTCD Standard), 24” width x 45” (61cm x 114cm). Stand-up height about 35” (89cm).
o No parts that need replacing. Corners rounded and smooth to prevent cuts and pinching. Folds flat when not in use.
o Each of two panels will hold 5 lbs of ballast material.
o Total loaded weight with 10 lbs of sand would be 25 lbs (11.3 kg).
o 3M High Intensity Prismatic reflective sheeting on each panel, 24” x 12”, white/orange diagonal stripes.
